AI Engineer

We need an AI Engineer who can take a vague technology request and return an oddball-friendly system that does exactly, and only, what was asked. Look past the title and you'll see $49,000 - $73,000, a MO base, and a junior role that asks you to lead, not just execute.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Snowflake and Keras
• Set the Computer Vision coding standards the rest of Community Development Partners engineering follows
• Pull Prompt Engineering telemetry into dashboards Community Development Partners leaders actually open
• Untangle the Prioritization dependency knots that have slowed Joplin releases for months
• Chase down the Prompt Engineering integration that silently drops Community Development Partners events at midnight
• Write the Prioritization integration tests that catch regressions before Joplin, MO ships them

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on experience with modern Computer Vision workflows and tooling
• Clarity of thought that shows up in tidy documentation
• The instinct to ask "what would change your mind?" before debating
• Comfort being measured against a clear junior bar
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, quick-to-ship environment

Community Development Partners grew from a Joplin kitchen table into a problem-solving technology company that Joplin, MO now genuinely depends on. Inclusion isn't a slogan here; it shapes how we hire, promote, and run every meeting.

We trade fair $49,000 - $73,000 for your talent and throw in mentorship, benefits, and a flexibility policy people actually use.

Right this second, the AI Engineer opening at Community Development Partners is taking resumes.
