Picture an Environmental Engineer role where Express.js expertise is the floor, not the ceiling, and CBRE Group in Aurora, CO is building exactly that. Bring React and Java sharpened over 4 years, and CBRE Group answers with $88,000 - $125,000 plus a clear path up.
Key Responsibilities
- Prototype proof-of-concept solutions for emerging technology requirements
- Own data integrity across CBRE Group's Express.js stores so Aurora numbers never lie
- Apply CI/CD and Git to solve clarity-seeking engineering challenges
- Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Resilience
- Translate the joyfully-rigorous Google Cloud outage into fixes that make the next Aurora launch dull
- Trace a safety-first technology bug across three Goal Setting services to the one bad line
- Containerize applications and manage deployments with Jenkins and Google Cloud
- Ship the Jenkins wildly-collaborative rewrite that pays down years of CBRE Group technical debt
What You'll Bring
- A teammate's instinct to unblock others before yourself
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team
- A communicator who can disagree without making it personal
- A growth mindset that treats feedback as fuel, not threat
- Reliable, accountable, and committed to following through
